  In Training

Each member of the High Prairie Fire Department take their responsibilities seriously and are constantly taking the opportunity to train in various areas - areas that will not only give the Firefighter the advantage the next time he or she is presented with the type of situation studied, but that very training ultimately benefits the men, women and children they've dedicated themselves to within the Town of High Prairie and the M.D. of Big Lakes.

Whether completing a course that will credit him or her with professional certification or an "In-House" training session, here are a few photos detailing just some of the training the HPFD Firefighter endures to ensure the life safety, fire prevention and public education of their charges.

Controlled House Burn - Gilwood, M.D. of Big Lakes

FFTS-700:  Interior Structure Fires / Interior Searches - Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service Live Burn Facility, Slave Lake
